Love-A-Thon 2015: Valentines for Bookish Stuff

This is the second mini-challenge of the 2015 Love-A-Thon! The event is hosted by Alexa Loves Books and tons of blogs across the interwebs are participating, so hop around a lot and let people know what you think! See my other love-a-thon posts.

This post is all about the love, love, love! So let's get the mood started correctly and hit play on the song below:

Next, for my bookish valentines, I've decided to make some valentines for authors who have penned some of my favorite romances between characters. I made these graphics myself, so don't judge too hard. :)

(because HOORAY for ghost/human romance!)

(Some people will probably argue with me about this "happy" part, but I totally think it was.)

(The awkward-at-dating group needed to be accounted for in books! Finally!)

What are some of your favorite character romances? Which authors would you write valentines to? Let's talk in the comments!

  1. This is such an amazing idea for a valentine! I love Meg Cabot and Rainbow Rowell. I still need to read Stephanie Perkins but I have heard great things.

    1. I actually didn't fall in love with Anna & TFK like everyone else did, but Lola and Isla are two of my favorite books. So even if you don't love the first one, stick with it :) Definitely worth it by the time you get to Isla's book because Josh is my FAVORITE!

    1. OHMYYGOODNESS You've never read Meg Cabot?! I feel like the better part of my 6th-10th grade years were spent devouring every one of her books. The Mediator series and 1-800-WHERE-ARE-YOU series are where I would start. They are some of her earliest and best, in my humble opinion :)

  3. Your graphics look awesome, and I love this idea! Mucho love for Stephanie Perkins & Rainbow Rowell. I've sadly need read Meg Cabot either. =( If I wrote Valentine's to a few authors they'd be: Morgan Matson, J.K. Rowling, Veronica Roth, & Stephanie Perkins.

    1. Thank you! I'm meeting so many people that have never read Meg Cabot! Mediator and 1-800-WHERE ARE YOU series are some of her earliest and best! And you'll FLY through them, so I say GO NOW GO! :)

  4. I love your author valentines! And I need to read more Meg Cabot, I think. I've read all of the Rowell and Perkins novels, but I haven't read everything from Meg. I adore her though!

  6. These Valentine's are amazing!! Definitely one of the favorites I've seen. I love the one for Rainbow. I wasn't crazy about the ending, but I definitely agree about the underdogs. I love that book so much.
